That experience means something practical for you: I’ve seen almost every version of a wedding day go right, and I know how to keep it that way when things shift — weather changes, timelines slip, family dynamics get complicated. You won’t be the first couple I’ve guided through a moment of stress into a photo you’ll love for decades.
My approach is calm and editorial — I guide when it helps, and step back when the moment is better left alone. That balance only comes from doing this hundreds of times, not dozens.
Born in Ukraine and now based in Vancouver, I’ve photographed traditions and celebrations from many cultures, and I bring that same care and attention to detail to every wedding I take on.
Outside of work, my two daughters keep me curious and grounded — and remind me daily why capturing these fleeting moments matters so much.
